   NVIDIA joins EU AI in Science Enablers push with open models and compute

   At the AI in Science Summit in Dublin, the European Commission launched the AI in Science Enablers Initiative, a shared framework linked to RAISE — the Resource for AI Science in Europe — meant to bring private-sector support closer to Europe's research community. NVIDIA said it is joining the campaign with access to accelerated tools, models and platforms, compute and cloud resources, training and technical support, collaborative pilots, and startup ecosystem support. The company says it has released more than 250 open models, 250 open datasets and over 1,400 open source projects, and points researchers to Nemotron, BioNeMo, PhysicsNeMo, Earth-2 and ALCHEMI resources.

   Norrsken and Nvidia to open Stockholm AI Lab for founders in 2027

   Norrsken Foundation and Nvidia will open the Stockholm AI Lab in central Stockholm in 2027, a hub for European founders using AI to tackle climate, health, food and societal problems, which will also house Nvidia's Stockholm office. Founders can already apply for membership; Nvidia is the lab's founding technology partner and will provide AI computing power, developer tools for robotics, simulation and life sciences, and links to its Inception startup programme. According to The Next Web, the project follows Norrsken's June 2025 pledge of a €300M AI fund now run as Prompt What Matters, and a ground-floor demo lab will be run by Nvidia and Norrsken portfolio company Root Bio.
