   SETI Brings Agentic AI to Radio Telescope Searches

   Breakthrough Listen and the SETI Institute are using agentic AI at Northern California’s Allen Telescope Array to steer instruments, correct incoming data, and process signals in real time from natural-language requests. NVIDIA says its Holoscan-based pipeline can handle 2.4 terabits per second on RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs and has achieved real-time AI detection of a pulsar in the Crab Nebula, though these performance claims come from a single promotional account. The team is also evaluating NVIDIA Nemotron open models for local and offline observatory deployments.
