   NVIDIA and Nokia push AI-RAN live trials as T-Mobile claims first AI-RAN call

   At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA said T-Mobile completed what NVIDIA calls the world’s first AI-RAN call on a live commercial network in Bellevue, Washington, working with NVIDIA and Nokia. BT, Deutsche Telekom and Elisa announced AI-RAN pilots on live networks using Nokia’s CUDA-accelerated anyRAN software on NVIDIA Aerial RAN Computer, with Elisa claiming Europe’s first AI-RAN field trial; Nokia is also bringing anyRAN on ARC for trials at BT, Deutsche Telekom, Elisa and Orange. NVIDIA said nine EMEA operators are building or expanding NVIDIA-powered infrastructure, Nokia and Cisco are integrating NVIDIA Nemotron open models into network-automation software, and it introduced MGX 2U and MGX 4U ARC configurations, with Dell, Quanta Cloud Technology and Supermicro to offer ARC-ready servers.
