Taiwan’s National Institute of Cyber Security has outlined “National Cybersecurity Protection 2.0,” a plan to use AI for source-code vulnerability detection, automated threat-intelligence analysis, AI-driven red-team testing and a controlled cyberattack sandbox. According to the institute, AI red-team exercises for government agencies are scheduled to run from April through October next year, subject to the plan’s implementation.
