   audio.cpp adds Kokoro and OpenVoice voice-cloning recipe

   A developer added an any-tts recipe to audio.cpp that pairs Kokoro with OpenVoice ToneColorConverter, combining speech synthesis and voice conversion without retraining the TTS model. The developer reported about 600 MB of additional peak VRAM, a 10% CUDA slowdown and roughly half the original CPU speed, while still running at twice real time. They described the Kokoro results as "pretty good," but the quality assessment was not independently verified.

   Voice-Pro 4.0 hits GitHub Trending with uv installer and Fun-CosyVoice3

   Voice-Pro is an open-source Gradio web app from Korean startup ABUS that combines YouTube downloading, Demucs vocal isolation, Whisper-family speech recognition, translation into 100-plus languages, and text-to-speech with zero-shot voice cloning via Edge-TTS, Kokoro, F5-TTS, E2-TTS and CosyVoice. Its version 4.0 notes describe moving the installer from Miniconda/pip to uv with a committed lockfile for reproducible installs, upgrading the runtime to Python 3.12, Torch 2.8.0+cu128 with RTX 50-series support and Gradio 6.20, adding an optional Fun-CosyVoice3-0.5B model covering nine languages including Korean, and dropping whisperX because of dependency pins. The maintainers state that development and updates are paused for now due to WeConnect work and that all code is open source and free to redistribute; the project markets itself as a robust alternative to ElevenLabs, a vendor claim.
