In a separate consumer case, Doubao, Qwen, and DeepSeek produced substantially different estimates for the same shopping guide, with the reported maximum error reaching 500 yuan against the actual payment.

Taobao maintained context more consistently, JD AI购 provided fuller pricing and historical-price information, Doubao offered distinctive spending advice but sometimes lost context, and “张大妈” offered cross-platform comparison but struggled to combine products and adjust budgets. The four findings come from the author’s own trials rather than a controlled benchmark.
