   Minisforum confirmed on October 10 that the S5, its first fanless all-flash AI NAS, will go on sale through China channels in mid-to-late October. The unit uses an aluminium chassis with a fin stack for fully passive cooling, weighs 1.8kg, runs on an Intel Core 3 Processor 304 platform and offers five PCIe Gen4 x1 M.2 2280 SSD bays. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, 10GbE RJ-45, 2.5GbE RJ-45 and two 40Gbps USB-C ports, which the source says makes use of the "Wildcat Lake" platform's expandability.
