   Singapore's IMDA forms task force to counter AI-enabled cyber threats

   Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has set up a working group to strengthen defenses against AI-enabled cyber threats, part of a broader push to improve the country's AI security and resilience. The group will serve as a collaboration platform to bolster resilience in the infocomm and media sectors, and plans to publish a report in the first half of 2027 with practical guidance and best practices. Other new measures include a starter toolkit for testing the safety and reliability of agentic systems, plus a certification program for AI testers.
