   Editor ships paid Mac app in 11 days with Claude Code, no code written

   ZDNET editor David Gewirtz handed a 30-year-old Macromedia Director icon file to Claude, which extracted 2,000-plus PNGs in minutes, then used Claude Code and Claude Desktop to build the Mac app Icon Gallery '97: 30th Anniversary Edition. He submitted it to Apple on Sept. 27 and it was accepted and live on the App Store four days later. He stresses this was not one magic prompt: he issued 502 directives to Claude Code across four days of active interaction.
