   GDPS 2026 in Shanghai to put 1,000-plus robots on stage

   The 2026 Global Developers Pioneer Conference and International Embodied Intelligence Skills Competition will run Oct. 23–25 in Shanghai's Pudong district, keeping the "developers, go find" theme and an "one contest, one opening ceremony, N developer events" structure built around real machines in real settings. Organizers say the event spans 9 tracks and 23 contest categories, with humanoid and robot makers including Agibot, Unitree, Fourier, Lenovo, Keenon, JAKA and Kepler joining component suppliers to show whole machines plus dexterous hands, joint modules, reducers and force-tactile sensors. The agenda also lists first-time releases of industry models and application scenarios — a Kupas industry benchmark series and China Mobile "spatiotemporal intelligence" models — alongside an open-source community session, an AI talent show and a Forbes China awards dinner focused on "non-human subjects."
