   Singapore PM Lawrence Wong warns AI tech stock rally will eventually correct

   Speaking at the Forbes Global CEO Conference in Singapore, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said the global tech stock rally "will one day see a correction," though he said no one knows when, how, or who will be hurt, adding that no boom lasts forever and that Singapore wants to seize the current window of opportunity. His remarks came as worries about an AI bubble mount: last month several tech executives called for slowing advanced model development, and Bridgewater founder Ray Dalio warned this week that the AI bubble may be near bursting. The report notes Singapore accounts for about 10% of global chip production and about 20% of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and that the government recently raised its GDP growth forecast to 4.5%–5.5%.
