   Smarsh puts AI governance at the core of communications intelligence

   At Smarsh EDGE, the company said its platform can analyze a year of email, messaging and AI-prompt traffic to build business context, capture communications between AI agents, and support natural-language compliance searches. Smarsh also introduced a model risk management agent in limited availability and a new Model Context Protocol server. Through a multiyear collaboration with AWS, the company is building governance and security into the infrastructure layer. A Smarsh study found that 26% of enterprises said their governance frameworks were keeping pace with AI deployment.
