   SoulAgent Used in 27 Public Classes at RDFZ

   Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence reported that SoulAgent was used in classroom, teaching-research and learning activities at the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China from October 19 to 24. On October 21, 27 open classes connected to SoulAgent’s “Help Me Listen” feature for AI-assisted transcription, summaries and teacher review. The report also describes teacher AI avatars, essay-feedback and teaching Q&A functions. It does not provide independent evaluations of the tool’s instructional effectiveness or accuracy.

   ByteDance Seed model-evaluation lead reportedly departs

   AI前线 reports, citing multiple media outlets, that ByteDance Seed model-evaluation lead Huang Wenhao left the team recently. He joined Seed in August 2024 and initially handled technical project management and planning; his responsibilities later shifted toward model evaluation, technical planning discussions and talent recruitment. Phoenix News cited people familiar with the matter who said he may next start a company, but his plans, direction and financing remain unclear, and ByteDance has not publicly confirmed his post-departure arrangements.
